Peacock feathers and peacocks are probably one of my most favorite things to paint. So I chose this canvas acrylic painting to announce a very happy news!!

I am delighted to announce my own Art store ~ ‘An Artsy Appetite’!!! Yes! I now have an online art store where you can purchase my artwork. Peacock feathers, with their beautiful colors, make a perfect subject for any artist. For this painting, I used artist acrylic paints and canvas from Aaron Brothers. I painted the background with acrylic paints with watercolor effect. I did not want a very opaque finish. The feathers are painted using a myriad of colors and blending, with the gold metallic paint giving it the final royal touch to the painting as a whole. The glossy finish is done using Liquitex gloss varnish.

This painting will make an excellent wall art for your space ~ home or work..
